“A Summer Camp to Remember”

The PAL SUMMER CAMP was one to put on the record books! Over 165 five to fifteen year olds attended the action-packed eight week program. They were all kept quite busy with a variety of activities, including many field trips to various exciting destinations: Starkey Ranch (a working cattle ranch), Xtreme Laser Tag, bowling, ice skating and Nature's Classroom. The children also learned some very important life lessons about personal safety protection from educational/awareness classes such as “Stranger Danger", "911 Safety" and "Internet Safety".

Through a team effort of the PAL Administrative Staff, City of Tampa Police Department, City of Tampa Parks and Recreation personnel and volunteers ... all went above and beyond to give their absolute best to the PAL Summer Camp Kids, making this program “successful, safe and unique” to any other summer camp in the area.

Summer Program Details

  • Starts June 14th 2010 Ends August 18th 2010
  • M-F; 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
  • The cost is on a sliding scale based on household annual income.
  • One price for entire summer. (includes field trips, t-shirts, lunches, and a 10 ½ hour day five days a week for 9 1/2 weeks.)
  • The children are divided into age groups, each group will have daily, age appropriate field trips and programs. Both educational and fun.
  • For children ages 5-13 years old. (your five year old must have completed kindergarten)
  • We are located at 1924 W Diana St. Tampa, Fl 33604 (just off Rome Ave and Sligh Ave)
  • The Office hours during the school years are 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, M-F
